If you’ve tried to build an email list, you know that list building doesn’t quite work as well as it used to. More and more people do not like to handout their regular e-mail addresses these days, so you end with a list filled with no-response, rubbish and unreachable email addresses that no-one ever checks. This doesn’t sound good, isn’t it?

Now, what if the emails you’re collating are your subscribers’ emails that they use for their Facebook? Bingo! Most people joined Facebook with their very active emails, emails that they will check and actually read.

With Digi Social Squeeze, we now have an extremely powerful and effective WordPress plugin that allow you to build a highly responsive list without the boring autoresponder opt-in form. All you need to do is to give them a “Connect with Facebook” button … check the the button in action right at our sidebar. The moment your visitors click on the button, their Facebook email is automatically added to your autoresponder list … the very email that they use for friends and family, which they will check every day.

Sounds pretty neat, right?

QR Code Generator

It’s been some time since my last post here. That’s because I’ve been busy with several projects. One of them, which I’m announcing in this post is my latest project on QR code.

What is QR code? Well, for start, QR stands for Quick Response. Hence, QR code means the code that can produce “quick response”. In simple terms, QR code is similar to the barcode that you see on product or merchandise price tag that you see in shopping mall and retail store. Whereas, QR code is “barcode is squarish” format. Just like the one here …

I’m quite sure you recognize this. In fact, you should have seen this type of QR codes on newspapers, magazines, advertisements, flyers, websites and even .. tatoos (hey, quite a novelty idea right? LOL).

If you own an iPhone or Android phone, you can easily download QR code apps like QR Code Reader and Red Laser which are able to scan QR codes. Go ahead and install the app and scan the above QR code … see what it do.

Well, to be frank, QR code is not a new technology. It has been around for a while. But it seems that the adoption or application of of QR code technology is far from reaching its full potential. With every merchant and advertiser looking for novelty ways to reach out to existing or potential new customers, QR code can be a new “cutting edge” method to increase your bottom line. Afterall, almost everyone is carrying a (or more) mobile device(s).

If you’re looking to turbo charge the marketing power of your online (or offline) business(es), head over to WP QR Code Generator and check out how you can leverage on QR code technology to bring your business(es) to the next level.

P.S. I’m still in the process of refining the WP QR Coder website. Nevertheless, the QR code generator is ready for use. As such, I’m offering a special membership subscription of one-time $10. Yes, for a mere ten bucks, you can generate unlimited QR codes (for yourself or your clients). I’m likely to jack up my price when all are ready … so hurry now and grab it while membership price is crazily low.

P.P.S. Quick features for this QR Code Generator – It can generate QR codes to redirect to a website, send an SMS, make a phone call, send a vCard, tweet at Twitter etc. Very versatile! More details will be updated on the website soon.

Finding The Best AdSense WordPress Plugin

As many of you know, I’m an avid WordPress supporter. Needless to say, when I create AdSense blogs, it’s definitely WordPress. Hence, it make sense for me to use the best AdSense plugins for integration to the blogs I’d wish to monetize with AdSense.

In this post, I’d like to show you a habit I’ve when identifying the BEST, and none but the best, plugins.

In normal case, most will just go to Google.com and search for “best adsense wordpress plugins” and you’ll get results like this …

However, I realized that many of the results are similar and rehashed. And the plugins are very much the opinion of the authors. Though this may be a good review source, but I’m still not convinced they are the best plugins.

My favourite place to select the best plugins is none other than the original WordPress.org website http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins.

By default, the results are sorted in Relevance. But since I’m going for those plugins that are 4 stars and above, let me try to sort the plugins by “Highest Rated” ..

Oops, it seems that when sorted via “Highest Rated”, the plugins listed are rather irrelevant.

Hence, I’d need to fall back to the listing via “Relevance”. In this case, I’ll go through the list manually to identify the right one with at least 4 stars and above. The good news is that there is a good list of plugins with 4 stars and above. So which are the BEST? Another consideration factor is the total number of “Downloads”.

So here’s best AdSense plugins I’ve identified for frequent use :

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/quick-adsense/

Surprised you didn’t see a whole list? Well, there is no need to. You just need a good one and you’re ready to go. If you beg to differ or have another even better AdSense plugin you’d like to counter propose, you’ll welcomed to give me a buzz and I’ll do a quick review comparison.

Best SEO WordPress Plugins

The good thing about WordPress is its theme and plugin architectures that make it so versatile and powerful. That is precisely why I’m all into developing WordPress blogs for past years. Even when I need portal that works like a classifieds, or maybe a community site, auction site, Q&A or portfolio style, WordPress can easily be converted to one.

As I’m mostly developing WordPress blogs and portals these days, my focus is building up the effectiveness, especially in search engine perspective. To me, a blog or site must be developed to rank high in the search engines to reap maximum benefits. Thanks to many SEO WordPress plugins, this is an easy task.

So far, the best WordPress plugins for SEO purposes are :

SEO Smart Links – internal linking is an important SEO technique to impress the search engine spiders. This simple and yet effective plugin automatically self-link keywords and phrases to related posts, pages, categories and comments within your blog. This self-linking also entices human visitors to click through to other posts within your blog, increasing stickiness of your blog.

SEO Friendly Images – Other than webpages, images are another entity that can be indexed and ranked in the search engines. This plugin helps to make sure that your images are tagged with appropriate “alt” and “title” tags so that search engines can also index them accordingly.

SEO Slugs – With the permalink of your post following its respective post title, a post title like “What You Can Do To Make Your Website Rank Better” will have a slug like http://yourdomain.com/what-you-can-do-to-make-your-website-rank-better. Kindda long for a slug or keyword right? The SEO Slugs plugin will removes common words like “what”, “the”, “a” etc. (also known as stop words which the search engines will ignore) to be assigned as post slug, hence, making it more search engine friendly.

404 SEO Plugin – This is a simple “don’t-waste-your-traffic” plugin which gives you a smart customized 404 Page Not Found error message which automatically display relevant links to your posts and pages on your blog based on the words in the URL that was not found. With 404 SEO plugin, you’ll retain those traffic that will usually hit the “Back” button on the browser when they come across a page that is not found.

SEO No Duplicate WordPress plugin – As implied, if you have duplicate content on your site for some reason, this plugin allows you to select which version of a post the search engines should index while ignoring the others. With this, you’ll not have any worry of duplicate content penalty that might be imposed by the search engines.

Stay tuned and I’ll reveal to you more plugins power.

At times, you might want your WordPress Page to link to a separate URL or website instead of a page from within your WordPress blog, this is where this handy WordPress plugin – Page Links To can accomplish easily.

If you see the top of this blog, you’ll find a newly added Support page. When you click on it, instead of opening up a page from within this blog, it’ll redirect to the support page. This would give an useful way to manipulate how you want the Page to work. For example, you can use this method to link directly to an affiliate link.

This is one cool WordPress plugin you must use.

How To Start Making Money Online

You attended an Internet Marketing course, or bought some good books on the subject matter, gained the awareness of the numerous ways to make money online, getting your foot wet and ready to take the plunge … and suddenly, you blanked out, suffering from information overload and are clueless how to start. You are not alone. In fact, this is a phase where most newbies experienced.

Indeed, there are plenty things to learn and do in internet marketing. So much so that you couldn’t do A to Z all at once. I called it the “Bookstore Syndrome”. Now, imagine you enter a big bookstore, do you start to read the first book to the last book? You don’t. You will proceed to the section that you’re interested in. For example, in internet marketing, perhaps you might want to try out article marketing. So you focus on doing just that – article marketing.

Another common pitfall most newbies will jump into, that is to jump from one “goldmine” to another, trying out many new systems. Causing more information overload and desperation when none seems to work.

So how to you start to make money online? The answer is simple. FOCUS. And take ACTIONS. Focus on say article marketing, take your time, learn the way, take massive actions. Again, stay FOCUS at all time. Hints : Most of the methods you’ve learned in seminars, short courses and books work.

Okay, still unclear how to start? Well, let me offer you THE BEST way, in my opinion, to start making money online – FOCUS in WordPress blog. That’s right. WordPress is undeniably the best blogging platform. The search engines simply love blogs, especially WordPress blogs. WordPress is so powerful because of the many plugins, usually free, which enhance its capability and effectiveness. So, that’s it. Start to learn how to create effective WordPress blogs, and implement all the monetization methods and traffic generation techniques you’ve learned. Results will come.

One of the important factors of a successful and effective websites is the ability to attract traffic. But to know exactly how much traffic arrived to your websites, you need to have some form of traffic monitoring.

One free online resource I highly recommend is Statcounter.com. However, the “disadvantage” of using Statcounter to monitor WordPress blog traffic is that you’ll have to log in to Statcounter to see your statistics.

If you’d prefer to check out your traffic statistics directly at your WordPress Dashboard, one of the very best WordPress plugins to to that is WassUp … check it out.
