I’ve recently bought a new mobile phone for my father, in replacement of the very small Philips phone which he don’t really know how to use it. He was also complaining he got problem pressing the ultra small keypad too. The new phone which I’ve bought for him is designed specifically for old folks (and children) with very practical simplicity :

The simplicity and practical usage of the phone really strike a chord in me and I like it very much that I don’t mind using it. Afterall, a phone is just a phone to me.
What I’m trying to imply here is that while many other are going for sophistication and technological advancement (or rather, complexity), it might just work if we go the opposite direction – simplicity.
The same simplicity concept can be applied to website too. A good website need not be really complicated. Just take a look at Google.com homepage design … simple (as compared to Yahoo!).
Hmmmm, is there a market designing websites for the elderly?

I had to refresh the page 2 times to view this page for some reason, however, the information on here was worth the wait. I loved that it is also really easy to read for the eyes.
